EIGRP的路由器ID（RID）是通过路由器配置命令`eigrp router-id [address]`进行配置的。在输入了此命令后，RID就以EIGRP拓扑表中的这个新地址，得以更新了。为对此进行演示，这里就以查看路由器上的当前RID开始，如下面的拓扑表中所指出的：
