Fedora 项目将不再为它的 Linux 发行版取名

**Fedora 项目曾有一个丰富多彩的发行版命名历史，但是，这段历史将会在 Fedora 21 这里结束。**

Fedora 开发者已经决定现在是时候结束 Fedora 操作系统的命名规则和命名流程。我们不清楚命名的这一过程是否会由社区来代替实现，但是有一件事是非常确定的：Fedora 有关人员将不会继续为其取名。

||
|
||
“Fedora 21 的代号会是什么呢？然而再一次回答：空。不是‘空’字符串而是没有”。Fedora 委员会决定终止发行名称这一过程。但这并不意味“不再有发行名称”，发行名可以取决于社区或是工作组。又或者以任何方式来进行改革，Red Hat 的 Jaroslav Reznik 在[博客][1]中说到。

这些出现在一个无名的邮件列表的信息已经流传了相当一段时间了，但是可能到目前为止，Fedora 项目还没有一个很明确的说法。
